各有专攻吧。国外学校开设天文相关专业的学校数量很多，不像国内就那么几所，而且各有特色，比较起来还是很困难的。

至于美国大学,实在难做.有哪个会既知道英国的学科分布,又知道美国的呢?除了中介,我想没哪个会那么做了.

7、求天文学在世界上著名的国内外大学

国内天文专业在本科阶段招生的只有南京大学、北京大学、中国科技大学和北京师范大学。四所大学的天文专业各有特色，但都是很优秀的。
在研究生阶段招收天文方向学生的单位就很多了，许多学校都有招收，天文台也会招收，很多学生本科都不是天文专业的。

国外的大学很多都有天文方向的专业，一般综合排名比较高的大学天文都差不了。特别是加州理工，加州大学伯克利分校，都是天文方向的dream school啊，不过这些都是见仁见智的东西，很难说哪个就一定最好。anyway，适合自己的才是最好的。
