人物：护士长，护士甲、乙、丙，“120”值班护士，病人及其家属A、B白： 夜深了，已是凌晨一点。清风徐徐，月朗星稀，万籁俱寂。灯火通明的医院里，处处是护士忙碌的身影。
场景： “120”救护车凄厉的汽笛声由远而近。

临终者面对死亡，渴求精神上的支持，躯体上的抚慰，希望能够舒适有尊严地离开人世，这就要求我们这些医务工作者能够给他们提供精心的照顾，解除他们躯体上的痛苦，缓解他们对死亡的恐惧，维护其做人的尊严，提高其生活质量，并给予其家属心理关怀，最终使逝者死而无憾，生者问心无愧。
场景： 抢救室外，家属A焦急地踱来踱去，B则双手合十，念念有词。护士乙出，两家属上前。A： 我爸爸怎么样了？乙： 病人的出血是止住了，可由于大量出血休克时间过长，再则病人已到了胃癌晚期，他的时间不多了。他一直不停在说：“姐姐，姐姐，我对不起你。”不知道什么意思。
A： （A、B对望一眼）他是有个姐姐，也就是我们的姑姑。十几年前由于一些误会，两人闹翻了。便决定老死不相往来。姑姑就是因此离家出走的，这一走就是十几年。
B： 是的，自从我爸知道自己得了绝症后，就总是念叨着想见她，想向她道歉，想冰释前嫌，可我们四处寻找，四处打听都找不到她的影子，得不到她的一丁点消息，后来就放弃了。想想我们这些做儿女的真是不孝啊。连父亲最后的愿望都没法帮他实现。（开始哽咽着说，到后来发不出声音）
A（抹了一下眼角）乙： 你们不要着急，你们把你们姑姑的姓名、特征告诉我们，现在已经是6点了，8点一上班我们护士长会把这些信息交给护理部，然后护理部会想方设法帮你们联系报纸、电视台什么的，大家一起来找。
